Your Trusted Kitchen & Bedroom Designers in Selby
Homestyle Kitchens & Bedrooms is a family-run business rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and dedication to transforming homes. Founded in 2010 by father-and-son team Paul and John O'Hara, our legacy began decades earlier with Paul's training as a joiner at Cochranes shipyard, where he mastered the art of crafting solid wood furniture. This expertise evolved into Home Care Selby Ltd in 1984, a pioneering kitchen retailer that earned national recognition for quality and design. John, inspired by his father's passion, pursued his own journey in joinery before returning to co-found Homestyle, combining over 40 years of collective experience with a modern, customer-first approach. Our showroom in Selby offers a no-pressure environment where clients receive comprehensive design plans, full measurements, and transparent quotes with no hidden costs. We manage every project aspect in-house, from initial design to final installation, supported by a skilled team that ensures seamless execution. As official retailers of Gallery Kitchens and Gallery Bedrooms, we provide stylish, durable solutions tailored to individual needs, complemented by services like appliance replacement, worktop upgrades, and bespoke media walls. Our commitment to honesty, quality, and reliability has made us one of Yorkshire's most trusted names in home interiors. Whether updating a single unit or redesigning an entire space, we prioritise clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a promise to deliver exactly what we commit to, when we commit to it. This philosophy, built on decades of hands-on experience, ensures every client receives a service as exceptional as the spaces we create.

We recently moved to the Selby area and needed a new kitchen, not knowing the area but wanting to support the local businesses we came across homestyle kitchens in selby. We never looked back, from initial contact to fitting of the kitchen this family business was just what we were looking for. John and Paul were very professional and talked us through ideas during the planning stage. When they arrived to install the kitchen they showed great attention to detail throughout. John and Paul are a great double act, very friendly and respectful. A thank you to Jean who also dealt with our initial enquiry
