Character Builders is led by four brothers who each have areas of specialism, ensuring expertise across the spectrum of building work. Our work mainly consists of period property maintenance with a portfolio that includes work on Devon Long Houses, barn conversions, barn restoration, cottages, churches, timber frames and general maintenance.

As part of our commitment to fundraising for Devon Air Ambulance we completed the Ben Nevis Challenge in 2015 which saw us climb Ben Nevis, cycle and canoe in a one day epic. We won the event and most importantly raised over 3,000 for Devon Air Ambulance. Character Builders are the 2013 regional winners of the Federation of Master Builders Builder of the Year award in the 'Most Heavenly Builder' category.
