Services
Residential Architecture
We create bespoke residential designs that harmonise with their surroundings while meeting modern living requirements. Our process begins with detailed client consultations to understand lifestyle needs, followed by feasibility studies and site analysis. We specialise in new builds, extensions, and loft conversions that maximise space efficiency while maintaining architectural integrity within the Lake District National Park.
Historic Building Renovation
Our team specialises in preserving historic structures while implementing modern upgrades. We conduct thorough heritage assessments and work closely with conservation officers to ensure sensitive alterations. Services include traditional building technique analysis, listed building application preparation, and adaptive reuse strategies that maintain historical character while enhancing functionality for contemporary use.
Planning Consultancy
We navigate complex planning regulations to secure approvals for developments within the Lake District National Park. Our services include pre-application consultations, heritage impact assessments, and preparation of detailed planning submissions. We maintain strong relationships with local authorities to streamline the approval process for both residential and commercial projects.
Building Regulation Approvals
We ensure all projects meet current building standards through comprehensive technical documentation. Our services include preparation of construction drawings, specification writing, and submission of building regulation applications. We provide ongoing site inspections during construction to maintain compliance with approved plans and address any regulatory challenges that arise.
Feasibility Studies
We conduct detailed viability assessments for proposed developments, including site analysis, budget forecasting, and regulatory constraints evaluation. Our studies identify potential challenges early in the process and provide strategic recommendations to optimise project outcomes. This includes assessing sunlight exposure, existing space usage, and necessary consultant involvement.

Really difficult and frustrating experience; really not what we expected from RIBA architects. One issue after another. We're now having to go to formal/ legal action.
