Services
Draught Proofing
Our draught proofing service reduces sash window rattles and draughts using professional weatherpile and draught seals. This includes full sash cord servicing to restore functionality while maintaining heritage features. Ideal for period properties seeking energy efficiency without compromising historical integrity.
Sash Servicing
We re-cord and rebalance sash windows to restore smooth operation. This includes strip-down and rebuild of sashes with new cords, ensuring windows open and close properly for 15-20 years. Recommended for windows that are stuck, rattling, or difficult to operate.
Window Repairs
Specialist repairs follow conservation principles to preserve original window features. We replace rotten sections with matching hardwood while retaining as much original material as possible. Services include glazing bar repairs, rail restoration, and horn replacement for structural integrity.
Double Glazing
We install timber double-glazed sashes that maintain traditional aesthetics while improving thermal performance. This service is suitable for properties where secondary glazing enhances energy efficiency without altering historical window appearance.
Consultancy
Our consultancy service provides sash window assessments for conservation projects, planning applications, and tender documentation. We offer specialist guidance to architects, surveyors, and property owners on maintaining heritage windows to modern standards.
