I would normally hesitate to recommend tradespeople to friends and colleagues. But I would recommend Robert in a heartbeat.
Robert oversaw a full renovation of my Victorian 3 bedroom house. He helped me organise my ideas and define the brief. Which he answered with well thought out, logical solutions, that helped me make the most of my space. He's a smart guy, who knows his stuff technically. But more than that, he's got great ideas, and impeccable taste, which made him a trusted partner on the design side too. When things got stressful, his calm, confident, approach was reassuring. We hired Robert to help design a side return kitchen extension in east London. We needed someone helping find the right design that was also affordable within our budget and at the same time advising on the right layout to best use the space. Weve had exactly what we needed, professional service and great people to work with. As a structural engineer myself, I also enjoyed the collaboration with Robert and his team.

When I was looking for an architect for my Victorian house renovation I met with several architects who had overseen similar projects with a high level of finishing. I went with Robert based largely on his body of work, his enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the London home. I am really glad I did so.
