
Located in Devon in the beautiful Otter Valley & Blackdown Hills, Otter Valley Field Kitchen is a small family business based on our fourth generation dairy farm. Our handcrafted artisan ice creams and sorbets remain at the centre of our success as we strive to make ice cream how it should be - smooth, creamy, full of flavour and irresistibly indulgent.
Using our own cow's milk from the farm along with the finest natural ingredients and handmade ripples, we have flavours to tempt everyone's taste buds. From the traditional Madagascan Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Honeycomb to the more unusual, seasonal specials such as Cream Tea, Ginger & Butternut Squash and Seabuckthorn.
Alongside the ice cream, our field kitchen offers a range of light lunches and sweet treats using only the best locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We are very proud to hand-craft all of our pizzas to order using sourdough which is made and proven in house accompanied by the freshest toppings, all cooked in our very own freestanding stone based pizza oven.

Otter Valley Ice Cream and Field kitchen, certainly is an exciting place to be, and we absolutely love what we do. The new building, which replaces the summerhouse, marks the start of a new chapter for Otter Valley. Beneath the oak trusses high overhead, walls of glass allow you to experience panoramic views of the unspoilt Otter Valley.

Our gelato style ice cream is made from scratch, only ever in small batches, it's full of flavour and irresistibly indulgent. Our flavours change on a seasonal and rotating basis - making in small handmade batches allows us to be creative with our flavours, keep an eye on our Facebook page for our weekly special.

Homemade sourdough breadsticks, slices of Lonza, Coppa, cider chorizo, fennel salami and Draycott salami from a local charcuterie, alongside local Brie and goats cheese. PIZZA - Our sourdough pizza bases, are handmade in our kitchen everyday - slowly proven and then hand formed. Paired with the finest san marzano tomato base and the best local ingredients.
