The very definition of a family run business, Harradines has been active in the removals and storage industry for over 40 years. Set up in 1971 by Bernard Harradine, with backing from his father and wife Audrey pitching in at the office, it is now run by son Martin who officially took over the family business in 2004, after many years of running the company.

Over 4 intense days, Harradines packed up my home of 33 years, including many, many paintings and fragile items, and unloaded everything at the other end, including refitting the washing machine and dishwasher. The team were all cheerful, helpful, informative and skilled, going the (unexpected) extra mile at the delivery end. Nothing broke. Worth every penny.

We had an excellent experience with Harradines from start to finish. As with many moves our exchange and completion dates were difficult to pin down until very late in the process but we found the administration & bookings team super helpful and very willing to come up with imaginative ways of accommodating our dates during what has obviously been a very busy time for removal companies - they went the extra mile and were great with communication and updating us on their availability. I've used Harradines more times than I care to mention in the past five years, and every single time they have been professional, prompt, polite and patient. They have moved stuff in and out of a variety of houses and flats for us, as well as keeping some of our belongings in their storage facility. They also did an unusual job of packing up all our possessions and putting them in our own attic (when we had tenants for a year), then getting them all out again afterwards. Late on a Friday night my mother in law (recently bereaved) was told that the removal company that was supposed to move her from her home of 25 years had given away her slot without any warning. She was distraught. Harradines was recommended to me immediately when I reached out to my Street Whats App and I spoke to Martin there. Harradines moved us in April and were extremely professional, with a stressful process being handled as smoothly as we could possibly hope for. They have just assisted us to move an awkward piece of furniture and, once again, they could not have been more helpful. This includes the people at the end of the phone and the guys lifting the boxes. They are a class act and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Vynil record Boxes carried to van with no problems with handling. record boxes appeared at new address with tampered seal. Operative confirmed they had taken off seal and re sealed boxes to enable handling of box. This should not have been needed as they had no problems with the initial carrying. police are investigating.
Still unpacking and hope nothing else is missing.
Also double check gas registered to remove and refit any gas cookers..they removed ours but the did not refit it although ths is the service we paid for. U need as safe person to do both parts. Left us without cooking facilities
