Also, as a boat owner myself, I am pleased to offer LPG service, installation and repair for your boat. We can install, service and repair LPG appliances on your boat, including gas safety certificates for liveaboards.

I have been working in the Gas industry for over 30 years, 27 years at British Gas as a Technical Gas Engineer (21 years) and a Learning and Development Manager (7 years) at the British Gas Academies teaching gas technical engineering. I was then a Regional Technical Expert for Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) for 2 years and for the past 6 months I have been working at Derby College as a full scope Domestic Gas trainer.

I can offer a range of services on all types of domestic gas appliances to ensure they're working efficiently and functioning safely - and in some cases to keep your boiler warranty agreement with the manufacturer - your boiler should be serviced annually. I will electronically remind you when your boiler service is due.

Gas Fires

Our servicing not only checks the safety of the appliance, but we also thoroughly clean filters and injectors and inspect the chimney and catchment area behind the fire. I install all types of gas fires and can help advise and quote on the install and have a range of brochures to help you find the perfect fire for your home.

Landlord gas safety

I can complete a full gas safety certificate and forward it via email without the need for the landlord to be on site, saving valuable time. I can arrange Landlord Safety Certificates directly with tenants or by collecting keys, cutting out the time involved with the middleman. We will also have reminders sent annually taking away the worry and time.

An boat gas safety inspection and test involves a visual inspection of gas installation- flexible hoses, pipework, pipe unions, fittings, and appliances to check identify any corrosion or defects, a check of the gas locker to ensure it will drain safely overboard, and a pressure test to ensure no leaks and demonstrate soundness of system.
