Licia Di Pasquale, the owner at Bauen Design has over 20 years of experience working within the designer kitchen market. Achieving her honours degree in Interior Design and winning the National Interior Design award led her into kitchen design. Initially working for CP Hart in Glasgow's city centre, where she soon realised this was the industry for her.

This is where we get to know you and learn about your needs, how you currently use your kitchen, what works and what doesn't. We would be delighted to meet in your own home or here in the design studio. A detailed brief is taken to establish your individual requirements for the space in terms of function, aesthetics and budget.

Our clients liked the idea of an island however didn't think it would be possible within the existing space. They were keen to maintain the level of storage with the addition of integrated recycling bins. Also wishing to have better access to windows. All in all, our clients ultimately wanted the wow factor for their new Poggenpohl kitchen.
West End

My clients had lived with their existing kitchen for about ten years and felt it was now time to make the change to their dream kitchen. One of their priorities was to improve on the work surface area as their existing kitchen had one area at a lowered height, not functional at all. Being tall, both clients were keen to have their new ovens at eye level height.

Our clients' priority for their new kitchen was that it had to function, not just look good. The kitchen was part of the living space and the flow of the two areas had to work well. Attention to detail was key for every aspect of the design. This was a renovation project for our client, the detail which they had put into the renovation for the property had to be extended to the finish of the kitchen.
