Our shutters is made with traditional carpentry techniques. This includes the use of mortice and tenon joints for strength and stability, and engineered laminated stiles to prevent warping. Once hand finished they are covered with a clear UV coating to help prevent fading caused by direct sunlight and given a final visual inspection.

Tilt control rods are used to move the louvres up and down. There are 3 options for the position of the control rod, these being: offset to the side of the shutter, in the middle of the shutter and a hidden control rod mechanism which is machined into the stile and hidden from view. With the hidden option all the louvres move when one is pushed.
