Inspired Woodwork is a small company focusing on producing high quality, hand-crafted, bespoke joinery, kitchens, fitted and free-standing furniture. We pride ourselves on having a design process which gains an understanding of your vision and then works with you to produce an ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing product.
We specialise in presenting our products to a high standard using our expertise in a range of finishes including paints, varnishes, lacquers, stains and waxes. My name is Michael Gostling and I set up Inspired Woodwork to fill a gap that I feel has appeared in the furniture market. We make bespoke furniture using traditional methods.
We create individually designed, hand-crafted quality products which will last for years to come. I studied Design Technology at college, followed by an apprenticeship in Traditional Bench Joinery and Wood Machining. During this period, I entered and won the South East Regional Skillbuild Competition.
