Underpinning our work is an approach rooted in the exploration of how places, buildings and things are made and how these can improve the lives of individuals and communities. Since our beginning in 1990 we have built an experienced and creative team of 140 based in London and Birmingham.

We work at a variety of scales, from big to small, designing cities to building components. To do this we have assembled a team with a wide range of skills. We have extensive expertise in designing a wide range building scales and uses from homes to highly technically complex public and commercial buildings.

We are aware that the built environment is responsible for damage to the planet with impact on biodiversity, health and climate change alike. For this reason, our design approach from small and large projects, from dwellings to cities, is based on principles that ensure we minimise environmental impact and enhance people's wellbeing.

Our success is down to our inspired and committed team of over 140 people in our two design studios. We have built a strong and talented leadership team, many of whom have grown with us over the life of the practice. Each of these leaders brings different but complementary skills that allow us to do the best work possible.

Absolutely phenomenal architects group who have single handedly changed the way central birmingham looks for the better. their most notable design there is paradise birmingham which is up there with Brindleyplace and Arena Central as one of the most important and highest quality regeneration projects in the citys history. Absolutely a well established company!
