Solid wood floors are made from one solid piece of wood and are commonly between 18 - 22mm in thickness. Solid wood floors are not suitable for installation using a floating floor method and require to be nailed down to a timber floor or fully glued Down using the correct flexible adhesive and a dpm paint when fitted over a concrete floor.
