Heating Solutions
Heating Solutions is a long-established and trusted business run by husband and wife team Paul and Sharon Barnes. We are committed to providing our customers with a service that is second to none, from the initial contact with our office through to the completion of an installation or boiler service and for years to follow with regular servicing and maintenance.

All of our staff understand the importance of putting the customer first, especially in an area of the country where word of mouth is still greatly valued. Many of our customers have been with us for years and appreciate our honest and friendly approach. Responsible for overseeing all our central heating installations, maintenance and boiler servicing work.

Paul will make sure you get a really competitive quotation. He has a keen interest in rugby, cycling and motorbikes - but don't get him started. Sharon joined Paul back in 2000 to help run the office side of Heating Solutions alongside bringing up their two sons, Dan and Joe.

Report
We will send you a Gas Safety Check reminder every year. The consequences of an ill-maintained old boiler leaking carbon monoxide don't bear thinking about. Under the Gas Safety (installation and Use) regulations, 1998, you are responsible for arranging the maintenance of all pipe work, appliances and flues provided for the use of tenants.
Guide to boilers
Report
Heating accounts for a large percentage of what you spend in a year on energy bills, so it is important to make sure you have an efficient well-maintained boiler. A condensing boiler has a larger heat exchanger, so it recovers more heat, sends cooler gases up the flue and is more efficient.
Controls
Report
Heating controls allow you to easily regulate the temperature of your home. A timer or programmer allows you to control when your heating and hot water comes on and when it goes off. This is handy because it means you can programme your central heating to fit around the way your home is used. If you're not at home or are in bed asleep, then the heating doesn't need to be on.
