Rose Uniacke

Rose Uniacke is an interior designer, a designer of furniture and lighting - for individual clients as well as for her showroom - and a dealer in both antiques and pieces by other, usually well known, designers. These three activities complement each other perfectly, not least because Rose believes strongly in combining the old and the new.

The 2010 launch of Rose Uniacke Editions, Rose's collection of furniture, lighting and accessories, was an organic evolution. Designing her home, Rose was often unable to source the specific furniture and lighting she had in mind, so she began to sketch and commission these items for her own use. When clients asked for similar pieces, it was a natural progression for her to produce them.

At Rose Uniacke we are proud to champion exceptional new work by other contemporary designers, artists and craftsmen. As part of this growing group, we are delighted to introduce pieces by French ceramicist Isabelle Sicart, architect Seth Stein and conceptual UK design duo Freshwest. United by a shared ethos of integrity with exceptional craftsmanship and imagination, Rose is delighted to showcase their work as part of the RU collection.
