Founded by Peter Carlyon in 2010, the company has grown organically over the years; building a solid customer-base around Bristol, and gaining a reputation for quality work and attention to detail.Having attained a Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture, Peter ensures that all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with current industry best practices, as specified by The Arboricultural Association.
All staff are fully trained and have NPTC qualifications relevant to their work, as well as decades of combined experience in the industry. All work is carried out to the highest possible standard and complies with BS3998: 2010 - Recommendations for Tree Work. In 2018, Peter's cousin Tom - recently returned from three years working in Australia - joined the company as a partner, making Wildwood Treecare a family enterprise.

They must be trimmed regularly in order to look their best. A regularly trimmed hedge will be thick and even with bright, dense foliage; while a neglected hedge will likely become sparse and leggy.
Stump Grinding

After a tree has been removed, it may be appropriate to grind out the stump. This is by far the safest and most reliable way to prevent the tree from re-growing, and is the best option if a replacement tree is to be planted in the same location.
