We came to York Street after many successful years working as a family-run mobile flooring company. Our shop and showroom in York Street is well established in the local area as, prior to our occupaton, it traded as a carpet shop for around twenty-five years.

I have known Dave for over 20 years. His knowledge and service has always been first class. He has a great shop which is open 7 days a week with a wide range of flooring and is a genuine family business. I would recommend Broadstairs Carpets to anyone, great service and competitive prices. First class service (again) from this genuinely excellent family run business. David and Olly are always so helpful and thorough in their advice and recommendations which we find invaluable when choosing from their fantastic range. Our lounge/dining room carpet looks superb. We also had the Karndean parquet flooring in our hall extended into the downstairs cloakroom and they went out of their way to source the materials in the most cost effective way for us. Just had most of the house re-carpeted by this excellent family run company. They were never pushy in terms of sales and didn't mind when we had to delay fitting a couple of times due to decorating. Highly recommended and the actual fitting was also top class. We also had the kitchen floor done which is also excellent. Before and after images.

Do not go with take forever for the order to actually come through. Very rude on the phone when there is a problem and calls you a liar too and hangs up on you without the problem actually sorted. If your a tenant and the landlords sorting it out for you expect to be treated like nothing. You are very very last on the list and waiting weeks and weeks for it to be fitted even when they're the ones to cancel on you. Avoid avoid
