Tate Fencing, the largest stockists of tanalised fencing supplies in the West Kent / East Sussex area. Tate Fencing Ltd - a family run fencing installation business started by Peter Tate from a small yard in Tunbridge Wells. Today it is run by Peter's three sons, Neil, Gary & Stuart - who all have first-hand experience within their fencing & automation fields.

All Tate Fencing products that have been Tanalised using the next generation of TANALITH E pressure treatment are automatically covered by our 10 year guarantee. Any Tanalised item damaged by rot or insect attack within 10 years of purchase from Tate Fencing will be replaced free of charge. Timber must not have been misused in any way, any on-site cutting or drilling made to the timber must be treated with an end coat preservative.

TANALITH E is the latest generation wood preservative, used by TATE FENCING. Already established in markets throughout the world. TANALITH E treated timber provides a proven alternative to traditional CCA treated timber for the timber trade and for the general public. The tanalising process involves placing the timber within the treatment cylinder and creating an initial vacuum within the timber cells.

We have four dedicated workshops on-site where we manufacture many of the products we sell. We pride ourselves on having not only the capability to produce large quantities of standard items on-site, but also having the expertise and willingness to make non standard sizes and bespoke items to order however large or small the requirement.
