The company was founded in 1894 by Thomas Hammond from French Street, Southampton, and is now run by the fourth generation, Richard Hammond. It has always specialised in the restoration and general repairs of residential and commercial properties, covering all trades. The company has been entrusted with many country house projects in Hampshire and adjoining counties, but still carries out small repairs and improvements by its long-service staff.
