So firstly, they visited our house on a few different occasions (once for a different job relating to woodworm activity and then twice more regarding requirements for tanking, due to rising damp) and each time, they offered honest advice about what was needed (and relating to the woodworm, they confirmed that what we were already doing was sufficient; this gave me confidence that they weren't just looking to take money from us for unnecessary work). Called Protreat out for a quotation. I was called in advance and then owner Dave came out on time and met me at the property. Dave was honest with me that the work wouldn't be required and advised us on what to do to solve it without a professional being required - Honesty is always appreciated as rare these days and the company were great with their punctuality and communication as mentioned.

Extremely professional company - I would definitely recommend. I contacted Mel at Protreat with a potential damp query after my property had been tanked 6 years ago. Protreat visited my property within a few days and thoroughly checked that no damp was present.
Protreat advised that the issue was related to a condensation problem caused by a ventilation issue and suggested contacting an engineer to install a mechanical trickle vent. In addition to this, Protreat emailed me their full report which detailed all their findings from their visit.

Professional service from the quotation to completion of the works. Mel in the office and Ryan onsite were both very helpful.The damp proofing and timber treatment works were carried out promptly and the properties left tidy.I would both recommend and use again.
