Design Schemes
We create tailored design schemes that balance aesthetics and functionality. Our process begins with understanding client preferences through detailed consultations, followed by concept development using 3D visualisation tools. From colour palettes to material selection, we ensure cohesive, practical spaces that reflect individual lifestyles while maintaining architectural integrity.
Lighting Design
Our lighting design service combines technical precision with creative vision. We develop electrical layout plans and atmospheric lighting schemes that enhance spatial dynamics. Specialising in both residential and commercial environments, we specify fixtures that complement architectural features while optimising functionality and mood through layered lighting techniques.
Technical Drawings
We produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp software. These include precise floor plans, elevations, and joinery details that ensure accurate implementation. Our documentation streamlines contractor coordination and maintains design integrity throughout the construction process, with renders providing clear visual representations of proposed schemes.
Bespoke Joinery
Our bespoke joinery service creates custom cabinetry and furniture tailored to specific spaces. We produce detailed drawings for craftsmen to follow, ensuring perfect fit and functionality. From kitchen units to built-in storage solutions, our designs maximise spatial efficiency while maintaining aesthetic cohesion with surrounding decor.
Project Management
We provide comprehensive project management from initial concept to completion. This includes coordinating with architects and contractors, monitoring timelines and budgets, and sourcing materials. Our hands-on approach ensures seamless implementation of design schemes, with regular progress updates and problem-solving support throughout the renovation process.

We engaged with Robertson Lindsay to help design our kitchen. Sally did a great job of understanding what myself and my partner were looking for, which were quite different ideas, and helping us select tiles and soft furnishing to compliment the kitchen units. We're delighted with the end product, and definitely wouldn't have come up with such a lovely scheme on our own.

Sally and her team helped us transform our New Town flat. The proportions were totally different to anything that we were used to and her 3D visualisation and space planning were invaluable in making the space work well. Sallys extensive contacts made selection of kitchen, furniture and lighting so much easier and we are really delighted with the end result. I can not recommend Robertson Lindsay highly enough- just a great experience to work with such a friendly, professional team.

When my husband and I were looking for a property to purchase in the summer of 2018, we view a really beautiful property in Leith and a property with potential in New Town. We opted for the New Town property and my husband said that if he could have the interior of the Leith property in the New Town property the Newtown property would be perfect. We are Dubai based so not an easy task to do ourselves, fast forward a few months after we took ownership we decided to look for an interior decorator for our new home. We stumbled across website that had photographs of the Leith apartment that we really

Our 1980s built bungalow on the South Coast of England recently underwent significant renovation to create a light, spacious, flexible and modernised living space. The interior dcor and style, however, was stuck in the 1980s, and although we had some ideas for changing it, we didnt have an overall vision of what it might look like. Thats where Robertson-Lindsay came in. They transformed a rather bland interior with magnolia painted walls into a stylish and warm space with colour, contemporary wallpaper, striking fabrics and bespoke furniture that we would never have found even after

We have been working with Sally at Robertson Lindsay for several years now. We started with two very difficult small spaces that we wanted to turn into useful areas - an en suite bathroom in an attic bedroom and a triangular space at our front door that we wanted to turn into a utility. We have since redesigned our kitchen, shower room and two back bedrooms. We have also done smaller projects with lighting schemes and just getting her view on decoration and light shades! Sally challenges us to think of things that we might not have as well as respecting what she finds when she visits. No job is

I used Robertson Lindsay last year to do my sitting room although I was not convinced that I needed a designer. The end result was a very beautiful, elegant room, which I loved so much that this year I used Sally's services for the rest of the house (ex kitchen which does not need work yet). I had the choice of whether only to use Sally's design flair or for her to manage the project also. I asked her to manage the whole project as I could not have co-ordinated all the tradesmen and it made the whole thing so easy as any problems, scheduling or other, were not mine. I received estimates for costs
