Slate Hearths
We manufacture hearths to HETAS safety standards in various thicknesses depending on fireplace type. Our 40mm hearths for open fires feature split-level construction to prevent cracking, while 30mm options suit closed stoves. Available in fine-rubbed or riven finishes with chamfered or pencil-round edges to complement any interior style.
Slate Cladding
Natural Welsh slate cladding creates striking architectural features for both interior and exterior applications. Our strip cladding system uses 60mm wide slats with random lengths and thicknesses to create 3D effects. Installation is simplified using CT1 adhesive, with options for sawn or naturally riven surface finishes that highlight the stone's inherent beauty.
Bespoke Projects
From intricate window sills with drip grooves to unique shower trays with integrated glass slots, our CNC machining capabilities enable complex custom designs. I bought a small, T-shaped slate hearth from Berwyn Slate. It was delivered on time, it was very reasonably priced, the measurements were precise and the slate itself is absolutely stunning, full of character and texture. Fantastic craftsmanship with full supply chin transparency. An excellent company selling top-class products.

Fantastically Helpful and great quality products! We live locally and were re-building our home which is made of local slate.
