Services
Sectional Garage Doors
Sectional garage doors consist of multiple panels that lift vertically, saving driveway space. They are insulated for energy efficiency and available in custom colours and finishes. Ideal for modern homes requiring durability and aesthetic flexibility.
Roller Garage Doors
Roller garage doors retract into a compact box above the opening, maximising space. Constructed from insulated aluminium, they offer security and low maintenance. Suitable for urban properties with limited clearance.
Side Hinged Garage Doors
Traditional side-hinged doors provide robust access with single or double-skinned insulation. Available in timber or steel, they suit heritage properties while offering modern security features and custom paint finishes.
Garage Door Automation
Automation systems enable remote operation via handsets, keypads, or smartphone integration. We install reliable Garador operators with safety sensors and backup manual release for convenience and security.
Repairs and Servicing
We repair all garage door types, including spring replacements, cable fixes, and automation diagnostics. Regular servicing ensures longevity and optimal performance, with spare parts stocked for immediate repairs.

First Light Home Improvements fitted our new garage door and they did a fantastic job! Cleanly removing the old, damaged door and installing a sturdy framework for the new one. We are very happy with the new door and highly recommend First Light! Thank you for a job perfectly done!

I contacted Peter looking for advice regarding some small repair jobs my elderly dad needed done around the house. Peter kindly took the time to recommend to me just the right person for this work, as Peter's company specialises in garage doors - my mistake! Thank you Peter and First Light for helping me and my Dad out, that thoughfulness is much appreciated!

Our Cardale garage door opened but then - horror - it started to bend. We could see that a cable had snapped so called a chap from Seaton who repaired it last time. Unfortunately he had retired but had seen a van and taken the number in case anyone asked... Looking at reviews we gave them a call and have to say they were polite, efficient and came when they said they would, even calling ahead to ensure we knew to expect them. Would highly recommend - and the price was reasonable too. Well worth every penny. Thank you.
