Services
Crown Reduction
Crown reduction carefully minimises tree height or spread while preserving structural integrity. Ideal for trees outgrowing their space, this service reduces mechanical stress and improves light penetration. Chartfords Trees ensures species-specific techniques to maintain health and aesthetics.
Tree Felling
Professional tree felling removes hazardous or unwanted trees safely. Using precision techniques and specialist rigging where required, we prioritise site safety and minimal environmental impact. Dismantling is offered for space-restricted areas.
Stump Grinding
Stump grinding eliminates tree remnants using specialist machinery, leaving a clear area for replanting or landscaping. Chippings are reused as mulch, aligning with our zero-waste policy. Stump treatment options are available for regeneration control.
Hedge Maintenance
Regular hedge maintenance preserves shape and health while adhering to wildlife protection guidelines. Chartfords Trees offers seasonal trimming advice and avoids nesting periods to safeguard local biodiversity.
TPO Applications
We manage Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and Conservation Area applications, ensuring legal compliance. Our team conducts thorough assessments and submits necessary documentation to local authorities for approved tree works.
