A rather lovely and unexpectedly larger than appears garden centre, Overstrand extends further back than first appears. Staff were wonderful, friendly and seemed particular enthralled with our little cairn terrier so dogs are more than welcome.
The cafe is quite small and limited to outside seating area at the moment and due to their current covid policy were not serving any food, though biscuits were easily located within the premises.

What a surprise, this place is 10 times bigger that it looks on the outside! Also, the bulk of the outside area is under cover so even though it was raining when I visited, it didn't matter. Lovely friendly staff too. Wasn't crowded, even though the front car park was full. Minor points: it was a tad on the expensive side, but the quality of the plants shows so you get what you pay for. Also, there is apparently an overflow car park but their own delivery van was blocking the entrance to it. Neither of which warrant a loss of 5 stars. Very nice place, well worth a visit.

This is a nice garden centre, loads of diverse plants and really friendly staff. The stock is a bit expensive though, but not exorbitant. You are paying a small business not a huge business entity, so the little extra you pay goes to local people and reinvestment in the store. There's a large store not far away and this garden centre is aware of that when it stocks itself. I often find that what one doesn't sell the other will, so as a local I'm well served. This garden centre also had a cafe before lockdown which was a lovely setup set in the midst of the indoor plants bit, I hope they reopen
