Brandwells Construction Co Ltd was founded by the present Executive Chairman Andy Dowden in 1973. We have since grown to become one of the most highly regarded groundworks contractors in the South West and South Wales, handling contracts worth more than 40 million annually.
Our current Board of Directors are all long-term employees who have been invited to join the Board over the years, some are also now shareholders in the Company, demonstrating our core belief in meritocracy, which extends right though the Company.We have recently promoted one of our groundworks operatives to the position of Safety Officer after he received the appropriate training.
We employ over 300 site operatives supported by a site staff of Engineers, Contracts Managers, Engineering Manager and a Health & Safety team. Based in our Bristol office we have a Technical, Estimating, Surveying, Buying and administrative support team of 32 people, including the Directors, the majority of our staff have been with the Company for many years.
