Having waited MONTHS for a light fitting to arrive as part of a large order for various lights (received fairly promptly once I contacted the company about non-receipt), I recently received an 'update to order' email and a separate one telling me that my lights were dispatched and to expect delivery information from the courier. I almost screamed in joy that my final light was about to arrive. But silence followed, so after a few days I re-read the two emails and noticed that the 'update to order' one had an attachment showing the original invoice. Ordered Dar aurelia pendant light and bulbs. When I called to get delivery date the customer service was perfect - quick, friendly and they offered to split the order so builders could fit it without waiting for the bulb stock to come in first. When I had a follow up query I used the form and got reply first thing the next day, all at a very reasonable price. Well done Castlegate team.

Price Promise is certainly no promise
I have just bought 2 wall lights from them. i did so without googling for the cheapest as they state a price promise. you would think a promise means that if found cheaper they promise to refund the difference. Oh no it doesn't, the answer i got back was as below
so if you want to get the cheapest deal, shop around first , suggest you dont assume a promise is really a promise , it certainly is not
Most disappointing and very misleading
Good afternoon
Please note price matches are at the discretion of Castlegate Lights Ltd and not guaranteed
Kind regards
