Stone Masonry and flint work
Report
We build and re-point all stone and flint work. We re-build walls using knapped flint and also field flint to match the different types of old flint walls that we come across. We can match the colour of the original pointing to these walls using natural earth pigments (for example, black pointing using vine black earth pigment to darken the colour as shown in image one below, versus image two which shows a natural lime mortar).

Point Builders is passionate about training the next generation of skilled tradesmen, and therefore we encourage applications by dedicated individuals with a willingness to learn building trades.
Within our team, we have experts in pointing, plastering, rendering, roofing and lime mortar works, and by working alongside them, you will be taught these skills and given the opportunity to practice and become a skilled craftsmen in these fields, as well as gaining daily experience in a range of modern trades, from brick laying, plumbing and electrics to house-builds, extensions, conservation and renovation of all kinds.

Domestic Refurbishment And Extensions

We carry out all modern refurbishment works and extensions. We have our own specialist, highly qualified and experienced team, including plumbers, electricians, roofers, carpenters, bricklayers, joiners, and kitchen and bathroom fitters. We carry out all roof work, from small repairs to complete re-roofs using Welsh, Spanish, and Brazilian slates or with old peg tiles, and any modern concrete tiles.
