We specialize in working with existing buildings and advising our clients on how to utilize the existing structure whilst at the same time incorporating contemporary design and modern materials.

KJC architects have worked on a series new build properties with both greenfield and brownfield sites. On every project, we take into account the clients requirements and the site limitations to refine the brief. We work very closely with our clients throughout the design and construction process to ensure the client is closely involved to achieve the required design.

We have worked on a series on both single storey and two storey side extensions. The projects vary from detached to end of terrace properties, where a parking space or garage is replaced by new habitable spaces. Side extensions are a great way of creating much needed storage space, toilets and washrooms, utility rooms or extending the existing living space to create a more open-plan atmosphere.

Extending to the rear of a house is the usually the easiest and most practical way to create a larger and more versatile kitchen and living space. KJC architects have worked on numerous projects with a variety of house types which have extended to the rear to create a better family space.
