We are a family-run business that has been operating since 1929, making us one of the earliest garden centres in the country. Our extensive 2-acre site features a large outdoor plant area, indoor covered spaces for furniture and garden products, a substantial gift department and a welcoming caf. We source all our bedding plants, trees and shrubs exclusively from English nurseries, ensuring quality and regional suitability. All fresh produce sold in our centre comes from local growers, supporting the community and guaranteeing freshness. Our knowledgeable staff, including Plants Manager Martin, a seasoned plantsman who lectures to prestigious groups and wins awards for organically grown produce, are always on hand to assist.

General Manager Bill brings a lifetime of experience in garden centres, offering expert advice on ponds, garden furniture, pest control and soil management. We stock a carefully selected range of high-quality tools from respected brands such as Wilkinson Sword, Wolf Tools, Yeoman and Joseph Bentley. Our commitment to customer satisfaction is reflected in our friendly, experienced team who are ready to direct you, answer questions and provide tailored recommendations. We offer reliable local delivery service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with flexibility for Tuesdays and Thursdays upon request. Throughout our long history we have upheld professional standards, continually adapting to meet the evolving needs of gardeners while maintaining the trust of our community.
