Tree stump grinding and removal work

Tree stumps can be left in the ground after felling but this can lead to problems with suckering where new shoots arise from the trunk and roots. Stump grinding removes the main solid wooden stump from the top down to give enough depth to back fill with soil and re-instate the lawn etc. The process is quick and efficient.

A tree maybe dead, or dying. It may be leaning at an angle that it is unsustainable, or most commonly it may be the wrong species in the wrong location - that cannot be meaningfully reduced and retained. In the right environment, standing deadwood is excellent for wildlife habitat. Dead branches and trees can provide a habitat to a host of flora and fauna (especially birds and bats).
