Went in today to look at some stone for our house and the place is in a bit of a mess.
We stood around after we had chosen the stone that we wanted and no one came to us, there was a guy standing there waiting the whole while we were there and nobody came out, there was a guy on a fork lift and he could see all of us just standing there by the counter waiting,
Won't be going back there and they have just lost a few thousand pounds worth of business.
If you have time to waste standing around then this is just the place for you. 2/10.

Strange review this - I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, and fully understand that some elements of products that are bought for resale are completely out of your control - so when I had to send the slabs back that I had ordered I was pleasantly surprised that a refund was offered without question - albeit with a comment from the owner that "you must have chosen the wrong colour" - yes the owner of the business is an unusual chap, but he's very straight talking and doesn't mince words - so that's a good thing in my book.

Surprised they are still in business. I will never go there again!! Disgusting attitude from the older man. Didn't want the order cuz they were too busy, when they did take the order he said he would contact me to confirm delivery, 3 days later I get a phone call saying they are on their way. When I tried to rearrange as it was not suitable to leave outside the house he said he was cancelling my order and would refund me when I tried to discuss it with him he put the phone down. Had to drive over there and get a refund. Since ordered from Travis Perkins, excellent service and price. They don't

We went to order some some pavors, Ripon Buff was only part of our order,
I asked if we could have 9sq mtr, he asked if we were taking them with us? I said no we would like them delivered.
"We wouldn't deliver 9sq mtr it wouldn't be worth it" was his reply I didn't even have chance to tell him what else we wanted. So we left telling him we would go somewhere else that wanted our money, so that's what we did total order came to over 2k

Looks like these are going out of business. After numerous attempts to get through on the phone someone finally answered ! I wanted a load of golden gravel stones and tons of plum slate. The guy on the phone just said very abruptly no and no and we cant get it either and the call was ended ! I had a lot of business for them too, ahh well their loss. So folks by pass Stone Valley they are well and truly heading down the pan !
