We are proud to install both Zappi and Rolec Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers, which are eligible for the OLEV grant (currently 350) and are compatible with ALL Electric Vehicles.

Originally working as a sole trader, Mick Carter's sons Jon & Matt joined him and Carter Electrical Installation was established in 2008, based in central Reading. We are accredited by the NICEIC who inspect us annually to ensure we meet strict guidelines for installations.

Landlords' inspection although it's not as enforced as annual gas appliance services for tenanted homes, it is recommended that the electrics are tested every 5 years or at change of tenant. Many insurance companies will insist on this. Buying or selling your home. We cover central Reading and the rest of Berkshire, South Oxfordshire and North Hampshire.
Solar PV

We've been installing Solar PV systems in the Thames Valley since 2010. Although many installers have ceased trading as the Feed in Tariff has been scrapped, we're still installing and servicing systems. If you're interested, we can usually provide an initial quote and illustration without even visiting your home.
