CPS were completing the annual service of my boiler (wouldn't skip that since it was installed!), and successfully diagnosed and resolved a problem with my central heating that was making the entire top floor like a fridge. Now that they've fixed the problem (balancing of all the radiators and connecting an additional pump into the system) the house has been so much warmer, on every floor.
