Services
Seven Oaks Garden Centre in Ruthin was purchased by Ian Forsyth in 2001 and has steadily grown in size and also popularity since then. Ian has a lifetime of gardening and horticultural expertise and his team of experienced and dedicated staff are always on hand to assist customers so that they can get their gardening right first time.
Whether you're a keen gardener, a 'grow your own' enthusiast or tentatively testing out your green fingers for the first time, we are here to offer advice and support with choosing plants. We are happy to suggest plants that will grow well in a particular given location. Furthermore, if you seek inspiration for your garden there is always a lovely selection of plants to enjoy browsing around.
We have some great reviews on Tripadvisor and so you can browse previous customer experiences. We support local welsh suppliers and aim to deliver the delicious fresh flavours for which North Wales has become renowned. For example, the delicious free range eggs that we come from a Clyttir Farm which is about 2 miles down the country roads.
We are thrilled to announce that we have won the Welsh Cafe Awards 2019 - Garden Centre Cafe of the Year award! Thank you for all who voted. Our July / August feature in Life in North Wales magazine is inspired by the benefits of 'Horticultural Therapy'. Your garden can provide a space for personal growth.

The food is basic but fairly good value. They have gluten free bread which is fab, and lactose free milk!

Lovely variety of plants, but the sales assistant could have been more pleasant, I left empty handed because of his attitude!

I needed compost for a large garden planter and there was plenty to choose from at reasonable prices. There were clear descriptions to help select one. Covid19 rules were being applied but caused no inconvenience. Parking is good.
