Services
Roof Repairs
Our roof repair service addresses leaks, storm damage, and wear to ensure structural integrity. Using high-quality materials, we restore functionality while maintaining aesthetic consistency. Clients benefit from rapid response times and durable solutions that prevent future issues, with all work covered by our 24-year guarantee.
Fibreglass Roofing
Fibreglass (GRP) roofing provides lightweight, waterproof solutions ideal for flat or low-pitch roofs. Our installers apply multi-layer systems reinforced with fibreglass matting. This service offers superior durability against weather extremes, with seamless finishes that reduce leak risks and require minimal maintenance.
Chimney Repairs
We restore chimney structures through repointing, crown repairs, and flue relining. Our team addresses cracks, water ingress, and structural weaknesses using lime-based mortars for breathability. Clients receive thorough inspections to identify hidden issues, ensuring safe, weatherproof chimney systems that comply with building regulations.
Asbestos Removal
Our licensed operatives safely manage asbestos-containing materials during roof renovations. We conduct risk assessments, implement containment measures, and follow strict disposal protocols. This service ensures compliance with health regulations while protecting property owners and occupants from exposure risks during refurbishment projects.
Lead Flashing
Lead flashing installations create watertight seals around roof penetrations like chimneys and valleys. Our craftsmen form custom lead sheets to fit specific architectural details. This service prevents water ingress at critical junctions, extending roof lifespan while maintaining structural integrity through precise, code-compliant workmanship.

Chimney stack removal - Overall really pleased with the excellent work carried out. Quote was competitive, team very professional, came when they said, found matching reclaimed tiles and did good quality work (happy for me to inspect and take pictures at various stages).
OK, like many good roofers, they are very busy and their work is weather dependent, so I had to wait 3-4 months and did have to contact them for updates to ensure work done before solar installation by another company, but worth the wait.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Our chimney was literally falling down on our heads! Raynes came by within a matter of days, priced the job, and we decided not to get any other quotes from other roofing companies. Job done, great new chimney. Raynes crew was polite, friendly, and very tidy. Thank you.

Raynes were recommended to me and I contacted them about some roof work. They came and were helpful; giving good advice for the work to be done. I received a quotation, accepted it and then heard no more. No date was ever scheduled or even roughly estimated. I did chase a couple of times but then gave up, but by then some time had elapsed. I would prefer people are honest and if they can't do a job, just let me know rather than leave me hanging around waiting for work on a leaking roof.

Had a quote last December for repair to a small issue, cancelled work due to covid to staff, have e -mailed a few times since then and told they were waiting for better weather. It obviously never came as repair was never done. Very poor communication only when I asked for an update did they reply. Shame as I wanted to use a local company but have had to go elsewhere before winter sets in

They fixed several problems with my roof. One problem reoccurred and they came back and sorted it. It was quite a lot of extra work but there was no extra charge. I will use Phil Raynes again.
