We then cut off the concrete in sections using a diamond cutter, but leave the lintel in. Once the old guttering has been removed, the new uPVC guttering is cut and placed a few centimetres from the brickwork to avoid any damage. Once we've installed a uPVC guttering system it takes around 6 - 7 weeks for any damp to clear up.
