Aeration
Report
This highly recommended mechanical process punctures the surface and improves the structure of your lawn. There are no immediate visible effects but, just like your annual car service, aeration can prevent potential problems before they occur. Greener lawn: soil compaction is reduced so that moisture can flow freely to the roots where it is needed most.
Scarification
Report
A mechanical raking process to remove unwanted moss, thatch and waste from the surface of your lawn. Your annual scarification enables air and moisture to permeate down into the soil creating a thicker, greener sward. Lawns which are scarified each year will cope well with heavy usage and stay greener than other gardens during a drought.
Seeding

Cheshire Lawn Therapy use a range of high quality seed blends including Dwarf Ryegrasses, Bents and Fescues. We select them according to the needs of your lawn whether it be for rapid germination, cold weather conditions or those tricky areas in the shade. Seed germination begins within 2/3 weeks. The soil needs to be above 5 degrees celsius with sufficient moisture - either from rain or your sprinkler.
Top Dressing
Report
Improved grass colour can be achieved with any top dressing containing a good fertile soil. This will also help to break down some of the dead thatch layer which naturally builds up in lawns. Once delivered we will apply the bulk top dressing evenly to your lawn using the correct specialised equipment.
