Grate Expectations is a well-established, family run business. The company has supplied and installed fires, fireplaces, stoves and flues in London and the surrounding area for more than 35 years. Based on our knowledge and experience, Grate Expectations has built an excellent reputation that continues to be enhanced by the meticulous approach we take with every project.

Grate Expectations offer a full installation service when fireplaces are purchased from us. Our team are all Professional, Fully Trained and qualified to meet your fireplace needs. The installation team consists of a Team of Surveyors, Installation Managers, and 5 teams of fully qualified HETAS and Gas safe registered engineers.

Installed an electric fire in our house. After a year, it developed a problem. I was impressed how the company really took responsibility and were determined to fix the issue - coming round 3 times and investigating it properly, eventually resealing the chimney stack. Now the fire works well. would recommend.

Danny and Billy are a pleasure to work with. GEF have a great selection of options and high quality finishes. We spent an evening discussing options and the team helped us thoroughly explore flue systems that would meet our preference and be suitable for our space. From walking into the showroom at Wimbledon Chase until completion we have nothing but praise for the company.
The welcoming, friendliness and expertise shown to us was brilliant.
The company answered all my questions [very lengthy] and put my mind completely at ease.
We purchased two gas burners and these were duly fitted within a six/seven week period.
It was so nice to see the fires working in the showroom and gave a much better overview.
The fitters took their shoes off at the entrance then completely covered all the flooring and furniture [light in colour]. They treated our home with
