Services
Gate Manufacturing
We craft bespoke hardwood and softwood gates using traditional construction methods. Our gates range from economical closeboard designs to premium morticed-and-tenoned driveway gates suitable for automation. Each gate is built to withstand wear while maintaining aesthetic appeal, with options for open-top or solid privacy designs. Our team ensures precise measurements and durable construction tailored to client specifications.
Gate Automation
Our CAME-certified team installs reliable automation systems for driveway and side gates. We offer above-ground, sliding, and underground automation options with safety features like obstacle detection and photocells. The process includes site visits, system recommendations, and seamless integration with existing gates. Annual maintenance services ensure long-term functionality and safety compliance.
Fencing Installation
We supply and fit pressure-treated closeboard, picket, and bespoke fencing panels. Our fencing uses FSC-certified timber and durable posts made from concrete, steel, or hardwood. Services include sloped ground adaptations, matching gate installations, and custom designs to complement properties. All installations prioritise longevity and visual harmony with surrounding landscapes.
Landscaping
Our landscaping services include bespoke pergolas, decking, and raised planters crafted from sustainably sourced timber. We design functional outdoor spaces tailored to client needs, from children's play areas to vegetable-growing planters. Projects combine practicality with aesthetic appeal, using high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship for lasting results.
Ironwork Supplies
We stock galvanised and black-finish ironwork for gates, including locks, hinges, and safety components. Products like throw-over loops, ring latches, and adjustable hook-and-band systems ensure secure and functional installations. Our selection supports both traditional and modern gate designs, enhancing durability and operational efficiency.

From quote to installation, it has been a pleasure working with Tarmec and Croft. Jane was so patient, Andy so helpful during measurement and the installation crew didn't leave a trace apart from some lovely new gates! The quality is top notch and they are really reasonably priced for what you receive. We had our installation date booked in early and even though there is a long lead in time - it's well worth the wait! Installed on time and they even managed to beat the rain! 100% recommending to anyone who needs gates and fencing.

Really pleased with the service that Tarmec and Croft offered us in first of all coming to do a proper visit and subsequently following it up with a very quick quote. Email communications were excellent at all times and the date for the work to be done was booked well in advance and the work was then completed on the original dates that were given. The installed fence was completed very professionally and without any fuss. Both workmen simply got on with the task, leaving us completely satisfied after their two days of work. I can only give them praise and wish all other companies would operate
