Pack Masonry, stone merchants and stonemasons, provides a full and comprehensive stonemasonry service to both the Private and the Commercial sectors since it was formed by James Pack in 2014. Now based just outside Bradford on Avon and in close proximity of all the Bath stone mines, we have excellent transport links to Bath and surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on creating a close working relationship with all our customers to aid and ensure the success of their projects however large or small. Pack Masonry has a large production facility and has invested in multiple machines which enables it to be flexible and work on supplying numerous orders at the same time.
On site, we undertake stone cleaning, restoration/conservation, rubble walling and all aspects of the superstructure (blockwork, porotherm, stone cladding, etc). Banker Masonry - We have a team of skilled masons to be able to produce hand carved finished items of stone. We also have a lathe for stone turning and a planer to produce large runs of stone to a bespoke section.

Stone restoration covers a broad spectrum and incorporates many skills and knowledge including knowledge of the materials that you are working with, identifying the correct methods to ensure that no damage is caused to the fabric of the building and working alongside Listed Buildings and conservation authorities.
New Builds
Report
We were involved in the stone fixing on the Ensleigh development phase 1 for Kersfield Developments. We fixed all the stonework on 13 plots with our team of fixer masons. We carried out all the stonework on this project for Ikon Construction on what was a very tight site in the centre of Bath and an even tighter schedule.
Stone Walling
Report
One of the projects we have completed was dry stone walling using Welsh pennant on a new reception area for Wainwright Quarry in Stoke St Michael for the building contractor Melhuish & Saunders. This stone was sourced through our knowledge of materials after visiting the quarry with the architect (Mark Kingsley of Kingsley Architects ).

From our workshop in Bradford-on-Avon we can supply natural sawn stone to meet your needs from our stone saw. We also have a fully equipped banker shop to shape sawn stone to your specifications. We cater for the local builder, architects and developers and can help in the design process using our extensive knowledge.
