Karnheath

Established in 1978, Karnheath is a family-run insulation contractor serving the North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire, and the Scottish Borders. With over 40 years of experience, we specialise in loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and extraction services for domestic and commercial properties. Our team prioritises energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental responsibility, adhering to industry standards such as Trustmark accreditation and CHAS health and safety verification. We offer free, no-obligation surveys and have partnered with government schemes to provide grant funding for eligible clients. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our use of BBA-approved materials like Instafibre White Wool, Knauf, and Isover, ensuring optimal thermal performance.

Having worked with major housebuilders and commercial clients, including Engie and Galliford Try, we combine technical expertise with customer-centric service. Our mission extends beyond insulation, aiming to reduce carbon footprints while maintaining competitive pricing and rapid project turnaround. Client testimonials highlight our professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail, with a focus on minimising disruption during installations. As a locally rooted business, we maintain transparency in operations and uphold a 5% annual target for reducing our own carbon emissions.
