Services
Roller Shutters
We manufacture and install custom roller shutters using high-quality steel or aluminium materials. These shutters provide robust security for commercial premises and domestic properties, with options for manual or electric operation. Available in various finishes and colours, they offer both durability and aesthetic appeal while protecting against vandalism and theft.
Roller Garage Doors
Our roller garage doors combine security and convenience, retracting into a compact box to free up garage space. Constructed from durable materials with optional insulation, they are available in manual or automatic operation. Designed to withstand forced entry, these doors enhance property security while offering smooth, reliable functionality for residential and commercial use.
Security Grilles
Retractable security grilles offer ventilation and visibility while deterring intruders. Ideal for windows and doors, they feature a low-profile track for accessibility and come in white or custom RAL colours. These grilles meet police-approved security standards, providing a discreet yet effective solution for both domestic and commercial properties.
Steel Doors
We install made-to-measure steel doors with fire-resistant and anti-theft properties. These doors require minimal maintenance and are powder-coated to any RAL colour. Designed to replace vulnerable timber doors, they offer superior strength and longevity, making them ideal for high-risk areas like rear exits and communal spaces.
Shutter Repairs
Our repair service covers all types of roller shutters and garage doors, with most issues resolved on the same day. We stock spare parts and motors to ensure swift repairs, minimising disruption. Regular maintenance contracts are also available to extend product lifespan and maintain optimal security performance.

Having had a bad experience with another Company who supplied me with a Double garage roller door and have now gone bankrupt I approached About Security for a quote to replace it. I received a very fair price from them and accepted it from 5 others. Paul and his Son arrived on schedule (3 weeks) and fitted. a quality roller door with a five year guarantee and the quality of this door to the other is like comparing a Rolls Royce to a Mini. The whole job was completed in approximately 3 hours, a demonstration given and the site cleared (you would not know they had been here). Its was good for

I have recently had a steel roller door installed on my garage and additionally a steel security door fitted inside my house to protect my music studio. I am very pleased with both items and I am very pleased with the service I received from About Security. I will go back to this company again if I need anything similar in the future. I found the company very helpful, and having got to know Paul and the team I believe that (should I need it) the aftercare will also be top level. A happy customer here.
