Simon Woodall Carpentry

Established in 1991, Simon Woodall Carpentry is an award-winning independent company based in Plymouth, Devon, serving clients across Devon and East Cornwall. Our team consists of time-served carpenters and joiners, CITB trained with City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificates, who deliver high-quality craftsmanship for both domestic and commercial projects. We specialise in property maintenance, joinery, light building work, and bespoke carpentry solutions, including staircase fabrication, window installations, and garden structures. As a training provider through CITB and City College, we maintain a commitment to apprenticeships, ensuring at least one apprentice is trained at any time. Our reputation for excellence is supported by liability insurance, health and safety certifications, and consistently positive client feedback.

We prioritise customer satisfaction through a friendly, personable approach, combining traditional techniques with modern materials to meet diverse project needs. Our portfolio includes work for Plymouth City Council, over twenty churches, and private clients seeking tailored solutions. Sustainability is central to our practice, exemplified by our 'Boards From Bits' initiative, which repurposes timber offcuts to create unique products while supporting global reforestation through One Tree Planted. With decades of experience and a focus on continuous improvement, we remain dedicated to delivering reliable, high-standard services that foster long-term client relationships.
