Award-Winning Residential Architects in London
We operate as a RIBA Chartered Architecture practice committed to delivering distinctive, client-focused residential architecture. Since our founding in 2010, we have built a strong reputation across London and the South East for creative design and professional rigour. Our work is centred on the high-end residential sector and includes one-off homes, new-build developments, refurbishments, extensions, basements and loft conversions. By working closely with our clients, we ensure that every project reflects individual requirements while achieving a refined architectural outcome.

Our architectural services are comprehensive and carefully structured. We commence each commission with concept development and detailed measured surveys, producing accurate drawings and design options. We prepare planning applications and manage discussions with local authorities to support a smooth approval process. To enhance understanding of proposals, we offer internal and external 3D visualisations. Our technical services include detailed construction information, coordination with building control and specialist consultants, and interior architecture with full specifications and FF&E. We also manage tendering, advise on contractor selection, and administer contracts on site, overseeing construction quality through regular inspections and clear communication.

Sep 14, 2024 Report
John and his team have been brilliant to work with for our full house renovation and extension in SW London. Our house is quite unique and that combined with it being in a conservation area we knew it wouldn't be a straight forward planning process - but Armstrong Simmonds did a fantastic job and helped us navigate us through every step. We couldn't be happier with the detailed design and outcome.

John and Nick from Armstrong Simmonds did a great job stretching some plans we brought them and helping us navigate the tricky planning process to deliver our best project yet. They were extremely user friendly, reliable and efficient. Johns integrity when we realised we'd initially selected the wrong builder really stood out and enabled us to partner up with an exceptional builder who we would highly recommend to anyone else. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend Armstrong Simmonds again.

Nov 07, 2017 Report
Architects Armstrong Simmonds were appointed by us to turn our concept of open plan living into reality, which they did with extraordinary vision and design flair. The AS team listened carefully to our ideas and transformed an ordinary detached house into a breathtakingly beautiful home that offered light, space and a lifestyle that exactly reflected our needs and requirements . AS worked closely with us and our builder, and their focus to detail in the design and build was impressive.

This young architectural practice in our opinion, offers something more. They listen, understand and are unique in their ability to conceptualise, plan and build with imagination, whilst considering aesthetics and functionality.
