Our kitchen removal service covers the careful dismantling of your existing kitchen before replacement work begins. We disconnect appliances and remove units, worktops and sinks, while taking care around reusable plumbing connections. Old materials and appliances are disposed of responsibly. Once removal is complete, we clear and prepare the site for installation. 
Our first-fix preparation covers the essential plumbing and electrical adjustments needed before your kitchen units are installed. We use qualified professionals to position water and waste connections, relocate power points and sockets, and organise extraction wiring and ducting. Where applicable, we coordinate certified gas engineers and provide the relevant documentation required for compliance. 
We prepare kitchen walls thoroughly so that units can be installed onto suitable surfaces. Depending on their condition, the walls may require patching, plaster skimming, rendering or levelling for tiles or direct unit fixing. Where signs of damp are identified, appropriate treatment is applied before plastering, followed by priming and sealing of the prepared areas. 
From initial setting out to the final adjustments, we take care over every part of the cabinet installation process. Base units are levelled, wall units aligned and tall or larder cabinets fitted accurately, even where surfaces are uneven. Laser levels help us maintain precise positioning, while doors, drawers, panels, cornices, pelmets and plinths are finished carefully. 
Our worktop service covers both installation and replacement, with several materials available to suit the kitchen, including laminate, solid wood, quartz, granite, Corian, and compact laminate. We complete on-site templating before cutting and allow for uneven or out-of-square walls. The finished installation includes sealed joints, moisture-resistant edges, and silicone sealing around walls and sinks. 
We offer a comprehensive appliance installation service designed to integrate kitchen appliances neatly and accurately. Our work encompasses ovens, hobs, extractor hoods, dishwashers, washing machines, fridge-freezers and microwaves. Installation is carried out with regard to manufacturer specifications and current electrical and plumbing regulations. We then test the appliances and provide guidance on their basic operation. 
We provide professional plumbing connections for kitchen sinks and taps, including the installation and sealing of sinks into worktops. The service covers hot and cold water connections, waste traps, drains, mixer and filter taps, and boiling water taps. We also address incorrectly positioned waste pipes by rerouting them to suit the new sink position where required. 
Kitchen tiling and splashback installation can be completed without committing to a complete kitchen renovation. We work with several tile options, including ceramic, porcelain, metro and large-format designs, while also fitting glass and acrylic splashbacks. Our professional fitters prepare the walls properly, create balanced layouts, apply grout and finish internal joints with silicone. 
Our kitchen painting and decorating service covers every finishing requirement, from surface preparation through to final coats. We prepare walls and woodwork carefully, paint ceilings and skirting, and repaint existing cabinet doors. Where no installation is needed, we can refresh a tired kitchen independently, providing a straightforward alternative to a full renovation.

We were not able to find a company capable not only install our Wren kitchen, but do the rest as well - tiling, decorating, removing the old kitchen, appliance connections etc. We chose Urban Kitchens to manage the entire renovation of our kitchen space. They also repainte the walls and replaced the engineered flooring. Everything was organised, completed on schedule and finished to a very high standard.

We purchased our IKEA kitchen in 2025 and it wasnt the easiest to install. Main reason is uneven walls in our victorian house and a few last-minute design changes. But Urban Kitchens team and specifically Anjey & Jacub (sorry if I misspell their names) handled everything professionally. They ensured every cabinet and panel lined up perfectly. I am really happy with the final look of my kitchen and highly recommend Urban Kitchens for Ikea kitchen installations.
