Services
Our electrical service covers domestic properties, rented accommodation, agricultural buildings, workshops and small commercial premises. We undertake everything from additional sockets and lighting to full or partial rewires, EICRs, consumer unit replacements, EV charging and solar installations. Smaller repairs are charged hourly, while larger works are surveyed first and followed by a fixed written quotation.
We provide EICR inspections for houses, rented flats, HMOs, holiday lets, farmhouses and steadings across Aberdeenshire. Our inspection covers the main board and circuits, with additional boards and circuits priced separately. We issue the Electrical Installation Condition Report required for tenancies, licences, purchases or insurance. Most bookings are arranged within 5 to 10 working days.
Maintaining electrical systems regularly allows us to identify developing problems before they become more serious. We inspect key components and assess overall system health, helping to address faulty wiring, loose connections, overloaded circuits and outdated equipment. Our service also covers system upgrades and tailored maintenance arrangements, supporting safety, efficiency, compliance and dependable electrical performance.
For properties requiring a new fuse box, we replace the existing consumer unit and test the installation before and after the work. Our typical domestic service starts from 550 + VAT, with a guide price of up to 950 + VAT for larger or more complicated boards. Most homes with a single board take one working day, and the completed installation is accompanied by an Electrical Installation Certificate.
For residential properties requiring electrical renewal, we offer both full and partial rewiring services. The work can involve removing existing circuits, installing new cable, fitting sockets, switches and ceiling roses, and replacing the consumer unit. We also check protective bonding and test each circuit, documenting the results on an Electrical Installation Certificate to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026.
Our approach to outdoor lighting focuses on achieving a balanced combination of appearance, efficiency and safety. We carefully position lighting to showcase landscapes, sculptures and architectural details while providing useful illumination across pathways and driveways. Motion-activated floodlights and strategically placed security lights can help deter intruders. We also install dependable emergency systems for secure environments in residential and commercial properties.
A 7.4kW smart EV charger can be installed at homes, farms and holiday lets across Aberdeenshire through our installation service, with prices from 900 + VAT. The standard price covers up to 15 metres of cable and can accommodate rural routes to detached garages and outbuildings. We assess earthing, supply and cable routing during a free survey, with standard installations usually arranged within 5 to 10 working days.
Our solar panel installation service covers residential, agricultural and small business properties, with 3 to 4kWp systems available from 7,000 fully installed. Before work begins, we carry out a free roof survey and provide a fixed written price, normally within one working day. Where suitable, we can also install battery storage alongside the solar panels.
Businesses can rely on us for electrical work across offices, retail premises, hospitality sites, warehouses and workshops. Services range from fixed wire testing and commercial EICRs to lighting, three phase distribution, emergency lighting and electrical maintenance. Workplace EV charging, PAT testing and fault repairs are also available. Each job is quoted against an agreed written scope at a fixed price.

I would highly recommend this company. The service was reliable, professional, and excellent throughout. They quickly completed several small electrical jobs around our house to a very high standard, and also did a fantastic job running the cabling from inside to outside for our EV charging point.
This was particularly challenging due to the limited access and difficult crawl space, but the work was carried out efficiently and with great attention to detail. Everything was completed neatly and to a high standard. We are extremely pleased with the result and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Steven was at our house 10 minutes after the call, and continued the next day to resolve our electrical fault. Although he was very busy, he committed to working on our house Saturday. He managed to fix a fault which had been bothering us intermittently for years, with light and ring main tripping. Exceptionally helpful and dedicated, my wife and I are very grateful.
Highly recommended, Many thanks, Rick Rastall, Roanheads Peterhead.

I had several electrical jobs needing attending to. I contacted Faithful Sparks and Steven came. He was earlier than expected- which is very rare these days and very much appreciated. He was very professional and friendly. A few weeks later I had to use Faithful Sparks and Steven helped me again. Very proficient. I cannot rate Faithful Sparks highly enough. Thank you Steven. Made a really nice job of my charger install and consumer unit upgrade. During the EICR testing they discovered breaks in both socket rings caused by a faulty cable and an old (live) socket box that someone had plastered over. Wouldn't have had a clue about these dangerous faults otherwise. Recommended - would definitely use them again.

I have no hesitation in giving Faithful Spark 5 stars. As a landlord I have had a lot of experience with tradesmen over the years, and I can honestly say my experience with Steven has been outstanding. The job I gave Steven was not an easy one and the communication has been exceptional, with Steven regularly keeping me up to date with progress and resolution to issues as they have arisen. I would not hesitate to recommend Faithful Spark as a top class electrician in the Aberdeenshire area.

We contacted Faithful Spark Electricians to look at a redundant cable initially, left a voicemail and received a call back almost immediately. Arranged a day and time and Stephen turned up exactly as scheduled. From that initial meeting we were impressed with the work and professionalism, the job turned into a fan installation including coring work which Stephen organised and again impressed us with constant communication and turning up again as arranged. We would have no hesitation recommending Faithful Spark and will definitely use their services again.

Faithful Spark Electricians went above and beyond to carry out a couple electrical jobs, 1 inside and 1 outside of my house. He was such a nice guy, very concerned about making sure my house was tidied up after his jobs which was lovely. He went out of his way to make sure a good job was done too. The aftercare has been fantastic and the work carried out was very quick and great value. Will definitely be a returning customer and would highly recommend.

We had a recent situation with our kitchen wiring which gave us cause for serious concern. I called Faithful Spark Electricians on a Sunday morning and Steven was there shortly afterwards to check it out. We had a new consumer unit fitted and wiring upgrades done within a week. We have never had them in before, but I must say, I am well impressed with the professional approach they showed to the job. No dramas, they just got on with it, did a great job, very tidy wiring, etc, tested everything and gave us a certificate of safety. Left the place tidy, and us with peace of mind knowing our wiring is now safe! We will be getting them back to do a few other jobs around the place. We highly recommend Faithful Spark Electricians, Thank you guys for helping us recently!
