PAYE Stonework and Restoration is one of the country's largest and longest established companies in the heritage sector, specialising in historic faades, monuments and other important structures. Founded by Adrian Paye and Bert Goodwin the company has now moved to employee ownership through the Employee Ownership Trust, an initiative introduced by the Government in 2014.

With Adrian Paye as Chairman, the business is supported by the board, led by Paul Newsam as CEO and Matt Kember as Managing Director. The move provides stability for future generations while allowing for evolution and growth in addition to encouraging greater employee engagement and benefits.

PAYE Small and Special Work is the most flexible of all our operations and provides clients with a variety of services from minor works contracts to restoration projects of up to 50,000. Under the Small and Special framework, we can carry out bespoke repair, restoration and conservation projects.

Principal Contractor

As Principal Contractor, we can plan, manage and monitor the entirety of the construction phase of a project. We regularly carry out multi-trade contracts for clients who require associated works to be undertaken in conjunction with the faade repairs.
