Underfloor Heating In A Single Area

When installing underfloor heating in a room the maximum length of pipe in one loop is 120 linear metres. Our single area packs come with a minimum of two loops, For underfloor heating packs larger than 24sqm at 200mm centres you will need to install two equal loops. Install approximately 3 to 4 runs (depending on room size) of fixing rail use the insulation clips for the turns and inbetween the fixing rails.

When installing underfloor heating into a full house or ground floor your manifold should ideally be located in a central position so that your pipework doesn't run through rooms it is not going to be heating. You will have instructions showing pipe lengths & pipe centre's for each room some rooms may have more than 1 loop per room dependent on the size (Maximum loop length of 120m).
