DDS Architecture is an architectural firm based in Leith, Edinburgh, providing architectural services in Edinburgh and beyond to the domestic, commercial and social markets since 2011. For our domestic market, we specialise in house extensions, but also work with people to carry out internal alterations, attic conversions or whatever they are looking to do to help them make their dream home a reality.
Since our inception we have successfully had over 450 consents granted. We have also worked on a range of commercial and social projects for various clients including Anglian Home Improvements, Castle Rock Edinvar, Four By Two Interior Design, Carr Gomm, Chop House Bar and Restaurant, Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, Ajenta, The Compass Group, St Andrew Square Property, The Scottish Courts, Stewart's Brewery and City Quay Developments.

DDS Architecture provides a service which is professional, efficient, high quality, good value, and bespoke. DDS Architecture is a small team based in central Edinburgh but we have carried out projects all over Scotland. We are led by our Director, Ross Robertson, who has worked in the architectural industry for over 25 years.

We understand that cost is one of the first things our clients want to know. We provide a bespoke service tailored to your requirements; we do not supply specific costs on our website because every project and every client is different. What we can tell you however is that our fees are based on the standard architectural fees recommended by the Fees Bureau.
Consents

What consents are required, such as planning permission or a building warrant, is one of the factors that should be considered in the early stages of thinking about doing work to your home. Architectural design must comply with planning and building regulations, and this may impact on the finished design and your budget.

If you aren't sure which service is best for you, we can discuss this with you during your initial consultation and provide you with our fees for both services should you wish. If you choose to go with this option, we will keep our appointment with you open until you have your necessary consents granted.
